Description:
The Honolulu District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is soliciting lease proposals for 1,500 to 2,600 of gross rentable square feet of commercial retail storefront space in Lihue, Hawaii for Armed Forces Recruiting purposes. The U.S. Government, by and through USACE, currently occupies retail and related space under a lease, in the city and state specified above. The Lessor shall provide adequate/assigned parking for approximately three (3) Government vehicles both during the day and overnight. The lease term is Four (4) years Eleven (11) months with Government termination rights. The Government would like a full-service lease (to include all utilities and janitorial services).
Delineated area:
The Government requests Space in Lihue, Hawaii in an area bounded as follows:
North: Intersection of Kuhio Hwy 56 and Kapule Hwy 51 (Lihue 96766)
South: Hulemalu Road
East: Kapule Hwy 51
West: Intersection of Kaumualii Hwy 50 and Old Hulemalu Road
Buildings that have frontage on the boundary streets are deemed to be within the Delineated Area.
If awarded to a new location, this office would be relocated immediately upon completion of construction of retail space to accommodate all requirements pertaining to the FY26 Construction Specifications for Production Offices with the lease start date commencing upon acceptance of space by the government (see attached construction specifications).
