Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District Contracting Division, pursuant to FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) intends to award a sole source contract to Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians for Red Lake Dam Maintenance and Dam Operations. The work to be performed is located on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. The Dept. of Interior Memo to the U.S. Army dated 2 December 1949 regarding Resolution No. 1, Serial No. 366 of the Red lake Band of Chippewa Indians states the Red Lake Band shall be employed on any work within the Red Lake Indian Reservation wherever possible. The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract under FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The requirement includes mowing and trimming, litter removal, gage reading, dike mowing, dike prescribed burn services, and staff gage survey/resetting services at the Red Lake Project, Clearwater County, Minnesota. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Information provided will not be used as a part of any subsequent solicitation requirement.
