Description
This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure Search for installation of new gym floor coating, for Chemawa Indian School in Salem Oregon. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract for the above products and services to the firm of Brandsen Hardwood Floors, Inc. Brandsen Hardwood is the contractor that installed the first coat on the new gym flooring and this contract will be used to install the second required coating on the new gym flooring at Chemawa Indian School. Further, there are no other distributors or sources available. The Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
