The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. All interested parties should respond. The 182d Airlift Wing of the Illinois Air National Guard intends issue a solicitation and award of a contract for Refuse Service to include a base period of one (1) year and four (4) additional option years. Service includes: 14 refuse containers (emptied weekly); 11 paper containers (emptied every other week), and 1 construction dumpster (emptied on-call).

Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Woman-Owned Small Business to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract.
All interested concerns shall respond in writing to Nicholas Marzinzik via email at nicholas.marzinzik@us.af.mil by 18 June. 2025, 12:00 PM CDT. The response shall not exceed five typewritten pages and must include:

(1) A completed and signed Sources Sought Response Form (attached to this posting).
(2) A positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor.
(3) A brief outline of key personnel, resources, and subcontractors that would be used to accomplish the contract.
