Tender are invited for Notice of Utility Tariff FilingThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA572-8, proposing revisions to the curtailment provisions in its tariff. Specifically, Chugach proposes to revise Rules 2.2 and 6.9(b) in its tariff to clearly define circumstances under which it shall have the right to interrupt the delivery of electric service without prior notice or liability to its members, including safety, breach of code or regulation, prevention of tampering or fraud, emergency conditions, or maintenance or repairs. Chugach also proposes revisions regarding its right to interrupt electric service without prior notice in the event of an energy supply shortage, including but not limited to shortages resulting from the availability of natural gas.This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification, which varies from those proposed.
