Tender are invited for Notice of Utility Tariff FilingThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA576-8, seeking to increase its Gas Transfer Price (GTP) from $6.65 per Mcf (thousand cubic feet) to $7.25 per Mcf. The GTP is the price that Chugach charges itself for gas from the Beluga River Unit (BRU) and is recovered through Chugach-s cost of power adjustment (COPA) surcharge mechanism. Chugach proposes the new BRU GTP will be recovered through the COPA surcharge that will be effective October 1, 2025. Chugach also submitted updated 2025 gas reserve and asset retirement obligation studies.This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification that varies from those proposed.
