Tender are invited for Notice of Utility Tariff FilingThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA397-13, proposing to modify its tariff provisions relating to the extension of facilities and service connections. GVEA currently provides up to the limit of one primary pole, one transformer (or multiple transformers for three-phase electric service) and service drop (or equivalent) for the extension of facilities and covers the cost of the meter and the connection of distribution lines for service connections. GVEA now seeks to replace its current contribution provisions for permanent electric service extensions and service connections by establishing a service credit of up to $4,000 for single-phase service, and $11,500 for three-phase service.This notice does not contain all requested revisions, and the Commission may approve a rate or classification that varies from those proposed.
