SYNOPSIS: Rehabilitation of Pine Island Housing Unit 124 in Everglades National Park THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service (NPS), Contracting Operations East, South Contracting Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the rehabilitation of Pine Island District Housing Unit 124 in Everglades National Park located in Homestead, FL. The project includes the replacement of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, roof replacement, and interior renovations to the kitchen, bathrooms, and other areas, following the construction drawings and specifications. A detailed Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation documents.PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about June 1, 2025, and will be posted to the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/home.This procurement will be 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 236118- Residential Housing Remodelers. The small business standard is $45 million.ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded, requiring submission of a technical proposal, past performance, and price proposal. The Government intends to award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required.SAM REGISTRATION: All interested offerors MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code 236118, and NOT have any exclusions such as delinquent federal debt or debarment.SITE VISIT: A site visit will be scheduled for this action.
