Environmental Services and Remedial Action Operations for BRAC Legacy Sites Former Fort Devens, Devens, Massachusetts

The total contract capacity will be $25,000,000.00. The ordering period will be five years from contract award with no option years.
US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District-s (NAE) will be soliciting for an environmental services contract at former Fort Devens and the former Sudbury Training Annex on behalf of the Army under the BRAC Program. This contract will be a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract set-aside competitive acquisition action under the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program.

Former Fort Devens is located approximately 35 miles west of Boston, Massachusetts within the towns of Devens, Ayer, Shirley, Lancaster and Harvard. The Former Sudbury Training Annex is located 20 miles from Former Fort Devens and was annexed in 1982 by Fort Devens. Former Fort Devens was placed on the National Priorities List (NPL) on November 21, 1989. In accordance with Section 120 of CERCLA, a Federal Facility Agreement (FFA) was entered into by the Army and EPA in 1991.
The major efforts under this SATOC will generally include environmental services at various sites related to (1) long-term monitoring; (2) operations and maintenance activities including landfill inspections; (3) remedial action operations; and (4) community relations support. The main contaminants detected at former Fort Devens include but are not limited to: solvents, petroleum and metals.
