The Department of Veterans Affairs, Asheville, North Carolina has a requirement for a contractor to renovate Building 15 2nd Floor under project 637-20-103 as required by Drawings and Specifications to be provided in forthcoming Solicitation.SCOPEConstruction Services: Provide materials, labor, tools, supervision and equipment necessary to perform work as described in the construction Drawings and Specifications to be provided with Solicitation. Work includes, but not limited to: preparing site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials to perform the installation of ceiling, flooring, sheetrock/metal stud walls, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing for approximately 12,500 square feet of space in the occupied administrative Building 15 at the Asheville VA Medical Center. Construction schedule: 15 days for bonds, 270 days for submittals and construction. Total contract time: 285 calendar days.
