The purpose of this Amendment 0002 is to extend the due date of the Solicitation to January 10, 2025, at 5:00 pm PT, to increase competition. The National Park Service (NPS) at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area (WHIS) has a requirement for renovation of its Visitors Center. The project is located at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, at the corner of Highway 299 and Kennedy Memorial Drive, Whiskeytown, CA 96095, Shasta County. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, testing, and supplies necessary to complete the work as identified in the project specifications and associated documents provided as attachments to the solicitation.Per FAR 36.204 the project range is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 236220, with a corresponding size standard of $45 million in annual gross receipts for the past three years. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Proposals are solicited only from small business concerns. Proposals received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered.The Government intends to award a single, firm-fixed-price contract. Award selection will be made on a Best Value determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price (experience, technical approach & schedule, past performance, California contractor state license, and management & safety) as listed in the Request for Proposal. This is currently an unfunded requirement with a high expectation that funds will be available. When and if funds become available a contract will be awarded at that time. See Section J Attachment 1: Specifications, and Section J Attachment 2: Drawings, for a detailed description of the requirement.
