Personal Computer Interface Unit (PCIU) Repair

Solicitation for this requirement is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB (FA8538).
This solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract for the repair of the Personal Computer Interface Unit (PCIU), NSN: 7021-01-561-5734UC, P/N: 714180-67 and 7021-01-702-8465UC P/N: 714180-7100, to provide all the necessary parts and labor to test and repair the PCIU. The contract will consist of a Basic Ordering Period (12 months) and four (4) 12-month Ordering Periods.
The solicitation is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with Other Than Full and Open procedures in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. The Government does not own any technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, Miltope Corporation, CAGE 54418, is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the PCIU performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to repair this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.

The solicitation is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, the Technical Director of Contracting has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Technical Director of Contracting is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
