Description
This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will have all the necessary documents, including a scope of work.
IAW FAR 36.204(e), the magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
Performance and Payment Bonds are required.
The scope of this project consists of the repair by replacement of an existing failing low-slope EPDM roof, with a new EPDM roofing system on Building B222 Annex portion located at the US Army Garrison (USAG) Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) Illinois.
This project will consist of a Base Bid to repair of the failing portion of the existing ± 9,830 square feet (s.f.) low-slope single-ply roofing by removing the existing roofing system and installing a new R-39 insulation, new EPDM membrane system, and new installation of other items associated with roofing system such as roof drains, overflow drains, installation of new overflow storm piping, replacement of existing damaged roof hatch, flashing, metal parapet coping system, removal of unused roof equipment and vents, installation of (2) disconnects according to the NEC in existing roof mounted exhaust equipment in the Annex portion of the building, and includes the replacement of seven (7) existing exhaust fans over the original building 222 section.
