SCOPE OF WORK
1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment as required to repair roofing and gutter on the Rice Mill Building located at USCG BASE CHARLESTON 196 Tradd Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
2. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance the contractor shall commence work NLT five (5) days after notice to proceed and work diligently to complete the entire work ready for use by 10 working days after contract award.

SCOPE OF WORK: Establish jobsite safety and barricades to access work space. Scope of work will require manlift(s) to provide access along both eave/gutter edges of copper roof & gutter areas requiring repair. Install permanent copper patch over previously temp-in repair of hole located in existing copper roof pan. Repair/Reform existing damaged copper gutter at select locations where damaged by recent ice/snow load. Existing materials to be bent back toward original condition s closely as possible. Resecure gutter with new 1/8” copper flat bar brackets similar to existing brackets. Resecure remaining brackets at other locations where fastening was compromised by ice/snowload. Install additional new 1/8” copper flat bar brackets between all existing brackets, doubling the quantity of existing hangers for additional/future gutter assembly strength. Install new copper patch at all existing gutter joints, soldering as required for weathertightness Replace bottom +/- 4ft of (1) existing copper downspout noted to be damaged during inspection. Demob equipment and cleanup jobsite of project-related debris daily and upon completion. Any additional repairs found necessary while performing the above-noted scope of work shall be reviewed with Owner Rep and performed on a T&M Basis in addition to the contract amount noted above. Conduct leak test of repairs on the roof and any other disturbed portions of the roofing system.
