Description
The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) task order for security systems services to Johnson Controls Security Solutions LLC, a large business. The period of performance for this effort is sixty (60) days after receipt of an order. The total estimated value is less than $50,000.
This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 8.405-1 for the aforementioned requirement to repair a previously installed security system based on the application of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the action for this requirement.
The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government
