This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis to request information for market research and planning purposes. This announcement is not a solicitation and does not constitute a request for quotes, proposals, or bids. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to identify and collect information on potential sources with the capability of providing design-build services to replace five Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and add two additional CRAC units at the Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as described in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government for acquisition planning and decision making.The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code to be used for this requirement is 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The small business size standard is $19 million. The Government is seeking to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of both small and large businesses.A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated.If your company is interested and possess the qualifications, capability, and responsibility to provide the services detailed in the DRAFT SOW, you are encouraged to respond to this announcement with a statement of your qualifications and capability.
