Description
The Hill Air Force Base in Layton, Utah, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to City Light and Power, to provide installation of high voltage transformers for the base housing area.
The award will be a single source procurement awarded to City Light and Power in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements”, for purchases exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available based on continuity.
This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than City Light and Power may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Amanda McLendon, Contract Specialist, at amanda.mclendon@us.af.mil by 8:00 AM MT on Friday, July 18, 2025.
Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
