Navy Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (NAVSUP FLCPS), in support of the Military Sealift Command (MSC), is posting a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest and recourse to support a requirement for REPLACEMENT JOINER DOOR PARTS onboard USNS CESAR CHAVEZ (T-AKE 14). This Sources Sought notice is intended to assist the Government in collecting information regarding potential offerors and commercial availability of the parts requested by MSC.

The applicable North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 with a small business standard of 1300 # of employees.

The results of the market research may contribute to future procurement process decisions. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding any submissions on the sources sought. The results of the market research may contribute to the determination that only one or more responsible sources exist that have the required capabilities and interest.

Please provide responses NO LATER THAN 17 APR 2025 @ 1200 PDT.

Please note, the parts requested for this requirement are considered Critical Safety Items as defined under COMSCINST 4490.1C, due to their direct applicability to various Main Diesel Engine systems. As such, potential offerors will be required to provide Authorized Distribution letters from the OEM confirming their ability to supply the parts as requested.
