INDUSTRY DAY SITE VISIT TO EDGEWOOD MARYLAND:
On 17 September 2025, the Government will host an Industry Day at Aberdeen Proving Ground (Edgewood Area) in support of the design and build of one enclosure inside of an existing surety chamber. Participants will be provided a brief introduction of the scope of the project and a tour of the space where the enclosure will be located. Following the tour, the Government will hold a question and answer session to provide any remaining clarification requested. Participants must register by providing their name, email address, phone number, and company name no later than 10 September 2025 to samantha.l.degele.civ@army.mil and erin.c.roos.civ@army.mil. An email with details on the meeting location and visitor requirements will be provided upon registration.*The Government will not reimburse contractors or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding, or any subsequent exchange of informationn or for any travel. *
This is a request for information (RFI) only. This is not an invitation for bids (IFB), request for quotations (RFQ), or request for proposals (RFP). This notice is published in accordance with FAR Parts 10.002 and 15.201 in support of market research. No award is intended as a result of this request as the Government has no intention to pay for information received. This RFI seeks information on industry-s capability to provide an enclosure inside of existing infrastructure to control and maintain the temperature, humidity and, if possible, generate and control a directional airflow. The enclosure will be used to test full ensemble protection of an articulating mannequin against chemical warfare agents.
