RFI/SOURCES SOUGHT:
The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors and to measure interest from all viable sources. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division Contracting Department, Crane, Indiana is currently seeking potential sources for a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the acquisition of two Transport Trailers. NSWC Crane is tasked with procurement of the two Transport Trailers to support future fielding requirements. The trailers include the following components: flatbed trailer, environmental control unit (ECU), bulkhead, roll tarp, and stands that elevate the payload. An Air Transportability Test Loading Agency (ATTLA) certification will be required prior to delivery. The Government has a requirement for the fabrication, assembly, inspection, test and delivery of Transport Trailers and is accepting information regarding capabilities from companies potentially capable of meeting the requirements as described above. All items will be delivered to Naval Support Activity (NSA Crane), Crane, Indiana. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), the Government is issuing this RFI/Sources Sought announcement as part of market research. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC-Crane) is seeking information for market research purposes to acquire two Transport Trailers. All work to be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, and regulations.
The anticipated term of the contract will be a six month period of performance. The scope of the work anticipated is fabrication, assembly, inspection, test and delivery of Transport Trailers.
