Description:
The Ccid Is Proposing The Replacement Of All Stamped Asphalt Crosswalks Within The Boundary Of The Cumberland Community Improvement District. There Are A Total Of 47 Crosswalks Throughout The District To Be Replaced As A Part Of This Project. The Red Stamped Shall Be Milled Out Of Each Crosswalk (at A Depth Of Approximately 2¿). Once The Asphalt Is Removed, It Should Be Paved Back With 12.5mm Superpave Asphalt Mix Then Striped Over With White Thermoplastic Markings. Both The Asphalt And Thermoplastic Striping For Crosswalks Shall Be Per Gdot Specifications. Per Cobb County Dot, All Road Construction Will Need To Be Performed At Night, Between 7:00 P.m. ¿ 6:00 A.m. Along With Adhering To Night Work Timeframe, When Scheduling The Work, The Contractor Will Have To Take Into Consideration The Atlanta Braves Schedule When Applicable. Lane Closures In The Area Are Not Allowed 3 Hours Before And After Any Home Games.
