Description:
The City Of Stockbridge Is Requesting Proposals From Contractors With Experience In Sidewalk Repair And/or Replacement To Repair Or Replace Selected Sidewalks In The City. Respondents Must Comply With The Minimum Qualifications And Shall Submit A Bid To Install Four (4) Inch Thick Sidewalk (six (6) Inch For All Driveways) For All Sections To Be Replaced As Described In This Rfp. Respondents Should Take Note That The City Is Requesting An Itemized Bid Response For Completion Of Each Section Of Sidewalk. The Final Sections Of Sidewalk To Be Repaired Will Be Agreed Upon By Both Parties Before Construction Begins. The Work To Be Performed, In General, Consists Of Removing And Replacing Damaged Sections Of Existing Concrete Sidewalk, Curb, Gutter, Curb Ramp, And Driveway; Repairing Sections Of Failed Asphalt Concrete Pavement; And Replacement Of Curb Inlets And Concrete Repair Of Adjacent Sidewalk Flags. The Work Shall Include Traffic Control, Saw Cutting, Excavation, Backfilling, Compaction; Installation Of Root Barriers, Patching Asphalt Conforms Adjacent To New Gutters, And Clearing And Grubbing. Locations Of Work Will Be Throughout The City Of Stockbridge.
