Description
This is a request for information (RFI) only. There is no solicitation package available. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Laboratory Division (LD) is looking to identify potential sources and requesting information pertaining to the availability of companies who can provide Direct Amplification kits capable of processing DNA databasing samples for upload to the National DNA Index System (NDIS).
This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. All information submitted shall reference this RFI number on the subject response line of the emailed response, as well as on all enclosed/attached documents. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI.
Proprietary data MUST be marked on a page-by-page basis and will be kept confidential and protected where so designated. The Government will not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Any [nonproprietary] comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation.
Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the SAM.gov website. It is the potential vendor-s responsibility to monitor this website for the release of any follow-on information. Supplying price data does not imply a contractual obligation and must be provided as a separate document, marked as Price Data. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Responses must be received no later than February 5th, 2025, by 4:00 PM, (EST).
