This is not a solicitation announcement. All responses are voluntary, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Request for Information (RFI) or any follow-up information requests. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. All responses to this RFI will remain in the possession of the Government and will not be returned.
This is an RFI to assist the government in conducting market research for replacing a Department of Defense (DoD) security fence/vehicular gate. The main purpose of this RFI is to receive a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) from potential contractors. Additionally, responses will help identify business capabilities and size, commercial practices, commercial pricing, factors impacting price, the standard or average time for replacing a security fence/vehicular gate, and will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
The RFI will be kicked off with a tour and briefing of the Old Gate at Martin State Airport Maryland Air National Guard (MDANG) Base on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET. To ensure a fair and neutral environment is established and maintained for all participants, no questions will be allowed during the tour and briefing. For planning purposes, respondents should anticipate that the tour and briefing will take two hours.
RFI Tour & Briefing Attendance Requirements: All attendees MUST register to attend by submitting a properly filled out WF 113 base access form (attached) without any errors, or missing information to 175wg.msc.org@us.af.mil by Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET. A form sent to the wrong email, an incorrectly filled out, or a late form may prevent you from attending.
