Request for Information (RFI): USGS Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services for Ott Hydromet EquipmentThe US Geological Survey (USGS) needs to assess industry interest and capabilities for assisting the USGS, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility (HIF) in Tuscaloosa, AL in obtaining equipment maintenance and repair services for Ott Hydromet equipment.In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3, Request for Information for Solicitation and Planning Purposes (October 1997) and 10.002(b)2)(i), this notice is issued solely for information, planning and market research purposes. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a Solicitation or an indication the Government will contract for the products or services contained in this notice. This notice is not to be construed as an acquisition Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
