REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI):
In accordance with Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) 206.302-1, the Government is issuing this RFI announcement as part of its market research. This RFI announcement is intended to determine the availability and technical capability of businesses to provide the required supplies.
BACKGROUND:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC-CR) is seeking information for market research purposes for the procurement of Missile Extractor Loader (MEL) and Vertical Handling Adapter (VHA) for Strategic Programs Conventional Prompt Strike 3 (SPC3). The MEL and VHA will be used in support of the use of loading and unloading of the All Up Round Canister (AUR+C). The MEL and VHA are produced in accordance with specific design specification.
NSWC-CR intends to award a contract on a full and open basis to a 100% Small Business set aside. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The raw material items shall be manufactured exclusively at facilities located within 250 miles of 300 Highway 361, Bld. 41NE Crane, IN 47522-5001.
REQUESTED INFORMATION:
Interested parties are requested to provide the information that identifies its capability to provide the manufacture, testing, and delivery of MEL and VHA described herein. Please provide information of performance on other Government contracts with similar efforts as applicable.
