- Proposals are being accepted by West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) for the Bulk Chemical Storage Tanks Condition Assessment Project. The Bulk Chemical Storage Tanks Condition Assessment Project aims to evaluate the existing conditions of its chemical storage tanks and provide expert recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement. Phase 1 consists of 11 tanks that have been prioritized for this project and are located at the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo.West Basin requires a qualified consultant to perform tank inspections and prepare a condition assessment report that includes the findings, ranked prioritizations, and recommendations for rehabilitation or replacement.Anticipated NTP is June 2025 and the inspections of the 11 tanks and report shall be completed within six months from NTP.
