Description:
This project involves the complete construction and installation of a prefabricated building, concrete slab foundation, perimeter fencing, and access gates to support the development of a new public recreational archery range. The City of Conroe is repurposing existing City property for this initiative, transforming the site into a safe, functional, and accessible facility designed to serve both beginner and experienced archers while enhancing the community-s recreational amenities.The contractor shall provide a turnkey solution that includes all labor, materials, equipment, engineering, and services necessary to deliver a fully operational and code-compliant facility. The prefabricated building must be designed and constructed in accordance with project specifications and include structural engineering plans signed and sealed by a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Likewise, the concrete slab foundation must be designed and constructed with all engineering documents signed and sealed by a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer.The scope of work also includes furnishing and installing all fencing and gates as shown in the project exhibit, ensuring durability, safety, and adherence to applicable standards. All required permits are the sole responsibility of the contractor, who must obtain, coordinate, and pay for all permits prior to beginning construction.The completed project must meet all federal, state, and local regulations and comply with the specifications outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The City seeks to partner with a qualified vendor capable of delivering a high-quality, long-lasting facility that supports public use and contributes to the City-s long-term recreational goals.
