The Secretary of State is the chief election officer for the State of Texas. The Secretary of State-s Elections Division provides assistance and advice to the county chairs of political parties on the proper conduct of elections, which includes hosting seminars. The Conference provides educational workshops and networking opportunities to promote a culture of excellence in achieving the mission of the SOS.
