- Summary : Project Description: The city's Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Master Plans are typically updated every five years. It is imperative to update the Master Plans on a regular basis to keep pace with the city's growth, changing land use demands and regulations. Work completed during the Master Planning process includes coordination with the city's General Plan to review development projections, forecast future water demands, wastewater treatment requirements, and long-range capital planning. In coordination with the city-s upcoming General Plan Update an update to the city-s Integrated Master Plan is proposed for FY 2025-26. As the city approaches build-out, future updates will be planned accordingly to capture any updates due to developments and/or regulation changes as well as growth that may impact the Capital Improvement Program. This planned update will coincide with the 10-year anniversary of the current Master Plan. The project is anticipated to start in early 2026 with a budget of $800,000 - $950,000.The 2018 Water/Wastewater/Reclaimed Water Master Plan is available upon request.
