- The Town of Granby, in Essex County, Vermont, is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to update a Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) for the Town. This work is funded by a Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Grant from FEMA (#02140-31239-010D), and the work has a firm deadline of August 21, 2026. The total project budget is $11,835, which is inclusive of direct and administrative expenses that may be incurred by the town. The selected consultant(s) shall 1) demonstrate the ability to identify various hazard mitigation strategies that will eliminate or greatly reduce the impact of hazards that may affect the municipality and 2) have experience related to mitigation planning work.
