  Description : The FRIENDS OF BOGARDUS PLAZA (herein after referred to as “FBP” or “Friends of Bogardus Plaza”), a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of New York, is seeking proposals (“Proposals”) from qualified firms (“Proposers”) by this request (“Request” or “RFP”) to manage and operate a Food & Beverage or Merchandise subconcession (“Subconcession”) at a pedestrian plaza designated by the New York City Department of Transportation (“DOT”) located at Chambers St and West Broadway in Manhattan, as more particularly hereinafter described (referred to as the “Plaza”; see also Attachments A and B in the attached RFP). The FBP was incorporated in 2010. The Plaza was implemented by the DOT in 2012 then underwent extensive renovations before re-opening in December of 2020.
