Description:
San Marino is a general law city incorporated in 1913. As a small City with a population of approximately 13,000, certain engineering, technical, and other professional and maintenance services are typically performed by outside consultants or contractors working with City staff.The City currently provides maintenance services at Lacy Park, and several City-owned buildings and facilities (full list included in the RFP), as well as City-owned streetlights and landscaped center medians. The contract for maintenance services includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals to repair facilities and equipment at these locations as required. The successful respondent will provide on-call citywide maintenance services for a specific area (electrical , plumbing, HVAC) to address various maintenance-related issues as they arise at different City-owned facilities and/or property. The ideal firm will have thorough knowledge and experience in the areas listed in the Scope of Services Section of this Request for Proposals. The City expects awarding no more than 2-3 on-call agreements per Category in individual amounts not to exceed $50,000 per year. The expected duration of the agreement is three (3) years, with the possibility for two (2) one-year extensions, contingent on satisfactory performance.
