- The County of San Mateo (the “County” or SMC), through its Aging and Disability Services (ADS) division of San Mateo County Health, is requesting proposals from qualified mental health professionals interested in providing clinical supervision to ADS employees. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to identify and contract with an experienced licensed clinical supervisor who can support staff working toward clinical licensure. This project aims to ensure that staff seeking clinical licensure have access to regular and effective clinical supervision, thereby enhancing the quality of care received by ADS- client population and supporting staff professional growth.The County seeks to contract with a qualified mental health professional to provide clinical supervision services to ADS employees who are:Currently pursuing licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Currently pursuing licensure as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)Currently pursuing licensure as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)The anticipated duration for the contract will be for a period of one year, renewable for up to four years, based on satisfactory performance and funding availability. The contract may be terminated for cause or convenience with a written notice of at least thirty (30) days.
