Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is soliciting comments on the proposed Richardson Highway MP 0-7 Repaving project. The project proposes only to resurface the Richardson Highway from MP 0-7. Material for this project will be furnished by the contractor.Portions of this project are within the base floodplain of the Lowe River. The project will only be repaving of the existing Richardson Highway. No negative impacts to the base floodplain of the Lowe River are anticipated.The project construction is scheduled for Spring/Summer 2025 This proposed project complies with the following Executive Orders (EO): EO 12898, Environmental JusticeEO 11593, Protection and Enhancement of the Cultural EnvironmentEO 11988, Floodplain ManagementEO 13112, Invasive Species We are currently working through final design and environmental reviews and want to ensure that all possible factors are considered.
