Tender are invited for Request for Public CommentShared-use Path Improvements: Parks Highway & Old Nenana HighwayState Project Number: NFHWY01103 The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is proposing to repair and upgrade existing segments of the shared-use paths located along the Parks Highway and the Old Nenana Highway (Figure 1). The project corridor extends west from Geist Road to Ester, near milepost (MP) 351.5, and from Old Nenana Highway intersection with the Parks Highway west to Village Road. Most of the shared-use path along the Parks Highway is located on the north side of the highway and separated from the roadway by a drainage ditch between the embankment and the path. However, two segments are directly attached to the Parks- Highway shoulder - one between Faith Lane and Berton Road, and another between Goldhill Road and Old Nenana Highway.
