Description:
The City of Montpelier (City) issues this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for consultant services to assist with recurring engineering tasks. Selected consultants will provide services on an on-call basis for a three-year period commencing January 1, 2025, and extending through December 31, 2027, with an option to extend for a period of two years.The City seeks qualified consultants to provide design, management, scoping, planning, implementation, and resident engineering services under the following general categories (see Section II for more detail):•Building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems•Building electrical systems including fire alarm and building controls•Building construction •Construction ManagementTo be considered, interested parties shall provide information as described in Section III of this document. Selected consultants will enter into contracts covering the aforementioned duration and become pre-qualified for assignment to individual projects. Once pre-qualified, project assignments will be made based on qualifications of the firm in relation to the requirements of the project, current workload, and past performance. A scope of work, schedule, and budget for each individual project will be developed cooperatively by the consultant and appropriate City staff.
