General work description:The City of Sierra Vista requests statements of qualifications from Arizona licensed professional civil engineers to provide engineering design services for various City construction projects, to include but not be limited to: grant writing, conceptual design and cost estimates, design concept reports, masterplans, the preparation of bid documents, services during bidding, construction administration, construction inspections, and other miscellaneous consulting services, as needed. The City intends to establish a nonexclusive “services-on-demand” retainer-type professional services contract(s), to reduce City administrative time, and save funds otherwise lost to delays.The term of the resulting contract will be through December 31, 2028, with the City-s option to renew the contract for two (2) additional one year periods.The City of Sierra Vista receives funding for some projects from federal agencies such as the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and others that will have project requirements that fall under the 2 CFR 200 and FAR regulations, including but not limited to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The City of Sierra Vista encourages businesses classified as DBEs, Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) and Minority Business owners to participate, however, there is no goal tied to this contract and will be task-order specific.
