Description:
The Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority (PRHTA) is issuing this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") to request the Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ") from Highway Design and Build Teams (Proposers) to carry out the Design and Build of the Proposed Extension of PR-5 Expressway Phase I, from PR-830 intersection to PR-199 in the municipality of Bayamón. The proposed extension is approximately 3.10 kilometers in length. The alignment begins before the intersection of the PR-830 & PR-5 at the south, then continues to the north and ends at the intersection of the PR-5 & PR-199. The project includes the construction of roadway, maintenance of traffic, 4 bridges structures, retaining walls, MSE walls, noise reduction wall, tolling facilities, lighting, drainage system, PRASA water and sanitary utilities, PREPA (LUMA) utilities, traffic signing and pavement marking, installation of traffic safety devices, intelligent transportation systems, erosion control measures, and related earth work.
