Description:
General work description:The City of South San Francisco (“City”) invites qualified consulting firms to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide On-Call Coating and Corrosion Protection services for critical infrastructure assets associated with the South San Francisco Water Quality Control Plant (WQCP), the wastewater collection and conveyance system, stormwater collection and conveyance and other City infrastructure assets. These services will ensure the continued protection and longevity of the City-s vital infrastructure by addressing corrosion-related issues and applying protective coatings. The selected firm(s) (“Consultant(s)”) will support the City-s efforts to maintain the integrity of various structures and equipment at the WQCP, including, but not limited to, aeration basins, headworks, grit handling equipment, digesters, and other related facilities.The Consultant(s) will enter into an on-call professional services agreement to provide technical expertise on coating and corrosion protection. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) aims to establish a qualified pool of consultants to be called upon for services on an as-needed basis through fiscal year 2028 with the possibility of an extension.
