- The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit bids from interested and qualified Vendors to provide the City of Seattle (“the City”) with assistance with fuel, battery jump-starts, tire repairs and inflation, to residents of RVs and vehicles parked on the public right-of-way, helping them voluntarily comply with and relocate in accordance with the Citys parking ordinances.The City does not currently have any contracts that provide these services. Annual usage on the resulting contracts is estimated to be $150,000. The primary user of the contract will be Seattle Public Utilities as part of their Vehicle Support Program, but other departments, such as Seattle Police Department and Parking Enforcement, Human Services Department, Seattle Parks Department, and Seattle Department of Transportation, may use the contract as well.
