Description:
The County of Sacramento is seeking Request for Proposal from qualified vendors to provide residential cleaning services. This RFP aims to establish a single contract for our residential homes. We invite interested parties to submit proposals that demonstrate their expertise in delivering efficient and reliable residential cleaning services on a regularly scheduled and long term basis. (preferably for multiple years).The primary objective of this contract is to establish a reliable cleaning service that can provide comprehensive cleaning for all areas of the home, tailored to meet the specific needs of Sacramento County Child, Family, and Adult Services. To achieve this, we require a professional cleaning service that can address all areas of the home, ensuring a thorough and consistent cleaning experience. The environment consists of residential homes where staff and vulnerable children will be present during cleaning times. Its important that vendors are sensitive to the nature of this environment, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The service should be flexible enough to accommodate daily cleaning if needed and ad hoc deep cleaning services on an as-needed basis for specific situations, such as post-event cleaning or addressing unexpected circumstances.There is no guaranteed purchasing volume for the vendor utilized under this contract resulting from this RFP. Given the multi-year nature of this need, County usage may fluctuate based on changing economic conditions and budget allocation.The initial contract period is estimated to be May 2, 2025 through May 1, 2026, with the option to extend up to four additional one-year increments through May 1, 2030. The contract will be subject to the same terms and conditions upon execution by the Contract and Purchasing Services Division.
