Description:
Description Clear Lake State Park is located at 6490 South Shore Drive, Clear Lake, IA 50428 in Cerro Gordo County. In the Northern section of campgrounds there are two restroom/shower buildings. Only the restroom/shower building furthest to the West is covered under this contract. The existing restroom/shower building is a modular prefabricated concrete structure. The proposed work will improve the structure of the building, refresh its amenities, lengthen its service life, and reduce maintenance and repairs currently performed by park staff. Work includes the addition of a standing seam metal roof, removal and replacement of construction joints and sealants throughout the building, new painted surfaces both interior and exterior, new resinous anti-slip flooring throughout, floor slab modifications to improve drainage in shower stalls, new electrical timers, lighting, and exhaust fans, repair and replacement of faulty or damaged restroom fixtures, dispensers and partitions, and new outdoor sand “pre-rinse” shower tower station.
