Description:
The City of Lakeland is requesting bids from qualified contractors to resurface 18 existing tennis courts at Beerman Facility Tennis Courts located at 1000 E Edgewood Dr., Lakeland, FL 33803.The project includes surface preparation, crack repairs, resurfacing and line striping. The contractor will ensure that all work meets the specifications and standards outlined in this scope of services.Minimum Qualifications:The successful respondent must have at least five (5) years of experience in resurfacing and coating application and provide evidence of such with their response to this solicitation.Respondents must submit any relevant license.City of Lakeland Resurfacing Project Requirements: In order not to impact facility operations, this resurfacing project will need to be performed in sets of 2 courts at the time. Once one (1) set of two (2) courts gets fully completed, the contractor will be able to start the next set and so on.Mandatory Project Timeline:Upon contractor selection and receipt of Purchase Order, the project MUST be completed by August 2025.
