Description:
The Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Department of Environmental Conservation (hereinafter the “State”) are seeking to establish retainer contracts for professional legal services for land conservation projects. Retainer contracts enable the State to quickly and efficiently complete real property acquisitions for state land conservation projects including fee and/or conservation easement acquisitions, fee and easement conveyances, and other land transactions on State-owned lands. Contractors awarded a contract must agree to the State terms and conditions and have their insurance and contract paperwork on file with the State. Any contract maximum resulting from contracts awarded through this RFP is not a guaranteed amount. The State will make payments against the contract for services delivered or performed as requested. This RFP will result in the award of retainer contracts to multiple Contractors.Contracts arising from this RFP will be for a period of up to 5 years, with an initial term of at least 3 years. Any cost adjustment shall be increased no more than the declared percentage (%) provided as a result of this RFP and incorporated with the contract.
