- Escambia County Marine Resources Division (MRD) seeks price quotes from properly licensed and insured (See Attached Insurance Requirements) marine contractors to purchase, deliver and install an ADA-Accessible floating paddle craft launch at the existing Perdido Bay Boat launch (10808 Lillian Hwy, Pensacola, Florida 32506).This project will retrofit an existing public boat ramp by adding an ADA-accessible floating paddle craft launch at 10808 Lilian Highway, Escambia County, FL.All materials used for the ramps and gangway shall be built with 6005-T5 marine grade aluminum and built to withstand a 50 pounds per square foot live load rating. The dock must contain corrosion protection including a sacrificial anode that is user serviceable. The design of the floating paddle craft launch shall follow the latest version of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and meet all requirements of US Army Corps of Engineers (COE) and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) permits (see attached).
