- The City Of Woodstock, Georgia, Herein Referred To As The City, Is Accepting Bids From Qualified Contractors For The Purpose Of Securing A Company That Can Provide Services For The Fire Hydrant Inspection And Testing Program For Hydrants Within The City Of Woodstock, Ga Water Infrastructure. The Distribution System Has Approximately 2,100 Fire Hydrants Inside The City Of Woodstock Limits. Yearly, All Hydrants Are To Be Inspected Within The System To Include Exercising, Greasing, Cleaning Hydrant Bodies, Inspecting, Assessing Operating Condition, Operating Isolation Valves, Flowing Until Water Is Clear, Painting Each Hydrant As Needed, And Flow Testing 20% Of The Overall Using The Two-hydrant Method, Hereinafter Referred To As The ¿services¿. The Services Will Be Awarded In A Three (3) Consecutive Fiscal Year Contract With Annual Renewal Options Not To Exceed Five (5) Consecutive Years.
