Additional Information RFB: Red Barn Drainage Improvements Project Location: 5401 Independence Rd. Weldon Spring, MO 63304 Bid Number: 261015 Pre-bid meeting: October 27, 2025 @ 10:00 am Bid Due Date: November 3, 2025 @ 2:00 pm Scope of Work The City is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of piped drainage underneath a sidewalk. The work shall include: Removal, or saw cuts, of sidewalk slabs, and proper disposal. Installation of new underground piping beneath the adjacent sidewalk that connects via “boot” to downspouts, and directs water to a suitable discharge point, such as a storm sewer or daylight. Restoration of disturbed surfaces, including concrete and landscaping. Specifications Underground piping: [e.g., Schedule 40 PVC or SDR-35, minimum 4" diameter, with proper slope and cleanouts if required]. All work must comply with local stormwater and building codes. Contractor is responsible for all permits, inspections, and utility locates. Timeline All work must be completed within 30 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Bid Submission Requirements Itemized cost of the proposal (materials, labor, site restoration, etc.) using the attached bid sheet. Proof of insurance and licensing. References for at least three similar projects completed in the last 3 years. Bid should not be more than 3 (8.5x11) pages long, including the following bid sheet. Addendum 1: All bids must be in a sealed envelope with “RFB: Red Barn Drainage Improvements” written in the lower right corner and delivered to City of Weldon Spring C.O.
