• THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Contracting Office is conducting market research to determine availability of companies that can provide the necessary additional manpower augmentation to enable capability development teams with technical support and capability development subject matter expertise. This support is required across seven capability areas including: Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance Reconnaissance, (C5ISR), Targeting, Intelligence Systems and Sensors (ISS), Sensitive Activities (SA) & Effects, Lethality (Weapons/Weapons Accessories, Ammunition, Optics, Mobility, Personal Equipment), General Combat Development Support, and Requirements Coordination. Technical support and subject matter expertise includes but is not limited to collecting lessons-learned, conducting market research, eliciting data from user groups, and assisting the requirements officer in drafting and validating requirements documents. This will involve a thorough understanding of special operations forces, military units, SOF component HQ, and theater special operations command (TSOC) organization, requirements management, industry and technology and acquisition processes. This special notice is for planning and informational purposes only and SHALL NOT be considered as an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, or Request for Proposal. There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI / Sources Sought.
