REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

NSN 5340011874186CW Slide, Drawer, Extension Rod

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capability to manufacture and sell-off testing of the APX-103 slide, drawer, extension rod NSN 5340011874186CW. The National Stock Numbers (NSN) and Part Numbers (PN) are as follows:

SRU:5340-01-187-4186, P/N 204-56030-5, slide, drawer, extension rod
The 5340-01-187-4186CW is the slide, drawer, extension rod that fits inside the APX 103 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Antenna Drive (5985-01-158-8819CX, P/N 204-56030-4). The technical data required to organically repair or compete the repair is owned by the Government and will be made available upon request. No samples are available for potential suppliers to evaluate.

Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor-s facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts.

Boeing is the original manufacturer of the 5340-01-187-4186CW and the APX 103 IFF system. The APX 103 Antenna Drive and Antenna Control are now organically repaired by the USAF. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
